Classes


Classes are offered in Los Altos, Emeryville, Millbrae, Milpitas, and Los Gatos.

Our goal is to become better drummers and to improve ourselves by practicing taiko.
We engage in uchikomi based practice.

Class Descriptions

Adult 1A Classes

This course engages in uchikomi based practice. The one who has either a sense of rhythm or a stamina to hit taiko for one hour are welcome. In each class, everyone will participate by playing on actual drums. The class meets once a week.

Adult 1B Classes

These classes are designed for individuals with advanced knowledge and understanding of taiko theory. It will improve the player’s power, speed, rhythm, and other important aspects of drumming skills. These courses require individual discipline to formulate group uniformity, which leads to sound unity, as well as physical strength.
